Affirmation, Gratitude and Play

Today’s Affirmation; I, Stephanie, (insert your name here if you like) embrace play today. I am reading a book called Play by Stuart Brown PhD that states play helps us to be smarter, increases our capacity to get along socially and also helps us to be better problem solvers. I love the thought that experimenting in play helps the brain to solve the complex emotional issues that arise in all our lives. I am making more time to play in my life than ever before. I am going to singing classes two and sometimes three times a week and somehow by singing I am getting more confidant and calm. I believe I found the answer in the book Play, singing is playing and I am connecting to myself when I sing so I am more confidant and able to speak up in other areas of my life. Also I am in a supportive relationship where I am seen, heard and appreciated.  I am the change I want to see in the world. Thank you for your precious time. Thank you for sharing your positive and helpful self with me.
Today I am grateful for knowing that I am able to effect my health by what I eat and drink (as long as leave wheat and dairy alone I am free of eczema) for realizing that moderation in all things is a way to create physical, emotional and spiritual health, and for accepting that I am able to contribute to the well being of my family, community and universe by caring for my own well being. Only by being healthy and constructive can I be of any help to anyone including myself. Thank you for your time. Thank you for sharing your curious and healthy self with me. I Love You! ♥ :~)

Squeeze is a painting created by my husband, inspired by music and connecting to the other people playing music at the time. Gerry Garcia said once “It is not enough to be a great musician you must be able to get along with the other musicians, so be cooperative, for the best results. :~)
