Affirmation, Gratitude and Breathing

Today’s Affirmation; I, Stephanie, (insert your name here if you like) today focus on my breath. I focus on all the techniques I have learned over the years to bring a sense of calmness to my life. Breathing is a great technique, just taking a few deep breathes when I am feeling emotionally challenged calms my brain and opens my heart. I also practice an attitude of gratitude daily, being grateful for everything increases my happiness and makes it easy to smile. I am grateful when I break something because then I get something new. I decided a while ago that if I have a problem and then get upset because of that problem then I have two problems the original issue and then I am upset a secondary issue. So now I just say things like job security when I break something or make an unexpected mess and laugh that gravity is working as the sound of breaking glass hits my ears or I leave a pan on the stove too long because I am writing on the internet. My mentor that taught me reflexology, also told me to be grateful for everything so I have been honing my skill at this for many years now, and I am grateful those words stuck in my head and my heart as it gets easier to be grateful for everything everyday as practice makes perfect. Thank you for your precious time. Thank you for sharing your open heart with me. I Love You. ♥ :~)

Today I am grateful for hearing as I can hear the pouring rain hitting our roof, the sound of my sweet husband’s bass guitar when he plays, that I can hear your laughter and that I can hear your troubles as well as your dreams, for gettingRobert Cerins‘ paintings shipped to a gallery that markets his art called Gunnar Nordstrom Gallery in Bellevue as Robert gets to be the featured artist in December Woo Hoo,https://www.facebook.com/pages/Gunnar-Nordstrom-Gallery/167910966585707?fref=ts, and for getting to make ginger bread houses last night with Teri Young and her two children Nick and Maggie as our presence was requested by the children, we had fun eating candy and having silly conversations about eating candy and whether the benefits of the fun we were having were off setting the who knows what ingredients that come in all the weird coloured candies of the Holidays. Thank you for being here today with me. Thank you for sharing your powerful self with me. I Love You. ♥ :~)

An image of a float home tied to a dock next to some boat houses and in the background it a home on a hill, the scene is a wintry wonderland.

Floatie is a float home that can be rented out by the day or week for people to feel their sea legs under them. :~)
