Affirmation, Gratitude and Giving

Today’s Affirmation; I, Stephanie, (insert your name here if you like) understand that small changes in my thoughts create big changes in my physical world. I focus on generating unconditional love today in my heart for all to feel, to generate love every moment of the day fills my heart with joy and a feeling of safety. Embracing love like it is water to my soul, wetting me with drops of grace and drips of charity. I dive into love through my helpful actions, my positive thoughts, my open heart and my infinite spirit. The more I invest in my spiritual life the safer I feel, as I trust that my spirit though invisible, is larger than my world. I value the spirit of each person I meet as if it were my own and I feel secure in our common connected consciousness.
Today I am grateful for giving, giving of my time, my energy, my thoughts, my love and my emotions so that I am in line with the first law of the Universe, the Law of Giving, for believing that giving and receiving are one and the same energy, so that I give with the expectation that all my needs are taken care of exactly on time, in exactly the best way for me and for being as giving as the sun, shining brightly on every soul leading them to love their precious innocent heart, knowing that each person is exactly where they need to be to grow into their best self. Thank you for the time you devoted here today. Thank you for being 99.9% the same as me. I Love You!  :~)

Having friends that get me, make my life worth living. :~)

Affirmation, Gratitude and Essence

Today’s Affirmation; I, Stephanie, (insert your name here if you like) am spirit incarnated in a physical body. I have witnessed people when they have passed on and I realize that the essence of that person is not there, just flesh. So since I know that, I have decided to invest in my spiritual life by following the wise words written down in books by other humans that also noticed, that when someone dies, the life force is gone. Entrusting my life to the principles of forgiveness, compassion, service and kindness allow me to be in a state of flow with unconditional love. I realize that my attitude and perceptions about the world form my experiences, so today I imagine the world is conspiring to help me be loving, that I incarnated into a supportive world and that I create the world I live and love in through my actions, thoughts and words.

Today I am grateful for rain, as last night, it poured rain, it sounded luscious, it brought a feeling of safety to my heart and I knew all the trees and bushes were happy to get a drink, for being patient, kind and accepting of my eccentricities as the older I get, the more I realize that everyone has fears and eccentricities, then when I realize my own follies I feel more human and for trusting that I am capable of changing the world by first changing me, so today I invest my heart in love by loving everything that happens today. Thank you for being a part of my creation today. Thank you for letting me be a part of your creation. I Love You.  :~)

Coming home is comforting, calming and connecting. :~)

Affirmation, Gratitude and Bio-Diesel

Today’s Affirmation; I, Stephanie, (insert your name here if you like) love to feel proactive in my life so I eat local organic food everyday. I buy 100% Bio-Diesel from the Cowichan Bio-Diesel Coop

for our car and I feel empowered. I share what I do so that other people can see that, there are sustainable ways to power our cars, grow our food and create the products that make us comfortable. I vote with the dollars I spend for the changes I want to see in the world. I appreciate people who put their hearts into what they do, whether is it write a book, fix cars, make a meal or lend a helping hand, so I support them by purchasing the services and goods they produce with their bodies minds and spirits. The more I act with my body, mind and spirit aligned the more I feel centred, calm and curious about life in general.

Today I am grateful for garage sales as last Saturday our friend Linda O’Connor had a garage sale, so we went by to say hi and I got a new used (my favourite kind of new) vacuum, free, so now I have a back up vacuum in case my other one needs a day off, for my mom Vicki and Robert Cerins‘ mom Vija connecting for the first time on the phone last week, as Vicki, bought Vija a birthday present for her 80th Birthday and Vija wanted to thank her, it was a lovely connection for them both and for setting goals, sharing the goals I have made and taking constructive action daily to meet my goals so that I am earning the respect of me. Thank you for the minutes you spent here today. Thank you for your sharing your humour with me. I Love You.  :~)

Affirmation, Gratitude and Trust

Today’s Affirmation; I, Stephanie, bring out the best in me when I am patient, calm, caring and compassionate to me. I have learned that to gain the respect of others I must respect myself. I dare to realize my value, understand that I am a grand spiritual being here to love, nurture my grieving heart with the wisdom of my spirit, so that I am able to contribute a peaceful vibration into our collective consciousness. The more I see myself in everyone the safer I feel. I trust myself, wow, that took decades for me to accomplish, as when I was younger I put everyone else’s needs ahead of mine until I was all give out. So I learned that it is necessary for me to fill my own cup first so that I have energy, love and compassion to share with all. So today I am gentle with myself, kind to myself and accepting that I do not need to be perfect to be worthy.

Today I am grateful for getting to have dinner last night with Sarah Wilson and her lovely children, we laughed, picked fresh greens from the garden and caught up on all that has been going on for us, for getting our 2011 taxes done yesterday, in an Excel spreadsheet, so that it is all ready for our accountant and for making amends to my mom and brother so that I know my slate with them is all cleaned up, as there was a time when I did not contact my family for a few years while I was figuring out who I was, what was important to me and how did I really want to choose to live my like. Thank you for the precious moments you shared with me today. Thank you for incarnating here on the planet with me now. I Love You.  :~)

Wow, I won a Liebster Award! Woo Hoo! Gratitude Dance!

Note: (These are the “rules” but please feel free to do as you wish. If you have 5 bloggers to nominate instead of 11, and you can only think of 7 random facts about yourself – that’s perfectly fine! )

Questions from Found This Painted That for me to answer.

1. If you were a super hero what would your powers be?

I choose to be a Super Hero of Love!  My super power would be to be joyous, grateful for everything, generous, kind and compassionate, so that my spirit is able to generate love for all to witness, absorb and share.

2. What colour is your bedroom?

That is easy, my bedroom is bright light sky blue as it is on the second floor, so it always seems sunny on the inside of my room.

3. What’s your idea of the best gift to give?

The best gift I can give people, is the gift to listen to their hearts, emotions and words, in the hope that each person I meet feels heard, acknowledged and accepted.

4. If you could only choose one, would you be beautiful or smart?

I would choose smart as knowledge is strength.  Ever since I was I child being smart was important to my family, as was the skill of reading.  So smart seems like the smartest choice for me.  :~)

5. What’s the longest amount of time you were away from your home?

When I met my the man who is now my husband, beloved and best friend, we went on a trip that lasted 9 months.  We traveled around the Western USA, Vancouver Island, Canada and Mexico.  It was a fun way to birth our relationship.  That has now been going strong for more than 9 years and 3 months.

6. What do you consider to be the hardest thing you’ve ever done?

The most challenging aspect of my life is the daily mission to master my emotions.  As I have come to realize that I am an emotional being, that is capable of thought.  So I observe my emotions every moment of the day to make sure my emotions are serving me, helping me to know myself and helping me to share my infinite love with everyone I meet.

7. When are you most creative? A.M or P.M.

I am definitely the most creative in the morning.  I love to rise with the sun and go to bed early.  :~)

8. Ocean or mountains?

Since you are asking me to choose, I shall choose the ocean as my blood and the ocean have the same amount of salt and I feel refreshed when I am near the wild, ever-changing salt water.

9. Book or computer?

I must confess, I still love to read a real book.  Even though I am sure I really spend more time reading on the computer.  LOL

10. Dog or cat?

Dog for me as cleaning a cat litter box is just too gross for me.  :~)

11. Coffee or tea?

Coffee for me in the morning that is weak, as I put one scoop of coffee in a whole pot of coffee so that I can trickle the caffeine in all morning.

Alright I finished my questions!  Woo Hoo!

Now for 11 Random facts about me:

1. I have been eating only organic food since 1994.

2. I burn 100% used french fry oil in my TDI Jetta Station Wagon as a way to support a small business in my town, vote with my dollars for a sustainable world and because when I drive past the bicycles I know it is a bit better for them to breathe than regular diesel would be.

3. Since I was I child it has been my dream to be a writer and I am now fulfilling that dream.

4. Leaving out dairy, gluten and eggs from my diet, keeps my skin beautiful (as when I eat dairy, gluten or eggs I get eczema), my weight at the perfect level and I feel healthy.

5. My goal is to cheer up the planet through my writing, attitude and by being a living example of kindness.

6. I had my first orgasm at the age of 29!  Wow, did I need that one!  OMG!  LOL

7. I quit smoking cigarettes for my 25th Birthday present to me.

8. I did not drink any alcohol from the age of 24 to 33.

9. I finally learned to enjoy an alcoholic drink without then wanting the entire bottle.  As in Overeaters Anonymous they do not suggest you quit eating all food, they just help you eat in moderation, that is what I wanted to learn and have learned to do with alcohol, to drink in moderation, because I have conquered my emotional issues, am comfortable in my skin and have learned to love me warts and all.

10. I love to drive, I still even have a license to ride a motorcycle.  My father taught me to ride dirt bikes when I was five years old and I still love to feel the wind in my hair and the power between my legs.  Yea Haw!  :~)

11. When I was nine years old my parents bought a home on 20 acres and I got to have a horse and a dirt bike.  What fun that was for me.  Gratitude Dance!

Affirmation, Gratitude and Pain

Today’s Affirmation; I, Stephanie, (insert your name here if you like) choose to embrace pain today as a catalyst for change. I see my discomfort as something to explore, accept and learn from. I spend time in my challenges so that I discover how to conquer my fears with compassion. To witness the pain of the world knowing that all is just as it ought to be, because I incarnated into the positive/negative universe, so that I am able to hold on to love in every situation that arises in my life. I trust from my personal experiments that the more joyous I am about whatever happens in the moment the better I feel about everything. So today I am thankful for the stubbed toes, the broken glasses, the bruised hearts, the lessons still left to learn, the opportunity I have to prove to me that one human heart is able to take all events in stride and enjoy this physical ride!

Today I am grateful for visiting with friends that live far and near on the facebook chat, as it is a fabulous way to connect with friends in a quick and quiet way, for getting to pick blackberries on Tuesday evening which then became blackberry banana smoothies for Wed. and Thurs. morning breakfast as they were delicious and nutritious and for the new purse my mom sent to my brother’s home for me, it is hand painted, made in India, here is a link to the web site of the company where my purse came from, my new purse ought to start lots of new friendships, as it is colourful and vibrant.
Thank you for joining me today. Thank you for sharing your pain with me. I Love You.  :~)

Affirmation, Gratitude and Swells

Today’s Affirmation; I, Stephanie, (insert your name here if you like) ride the waves of my emotions as a surfer rides the ocean swells. I feel the emotion as it is swelling in my chest and I take a deep breath so that I am using the emotional energy that is built up inside of me constructively, for my best interests. I witness the emotional swells of others with patience, I visualize each person I meet as a little child and their emotional state is easy for me to enjoy. Emitting calmness for everyone to feel is my goal. I choose to resonate as close as possible with source energy, so I give of my energy willingly, just as the sun does, warming every heart with my vibe. I allow my love to flow, instilling in my heart a sense of safety.

Today I am grateful for gaining the respect of my spirit by listening to my heart, acting on my heart’s wise advice and patiently embracing my fears with courage, for the ability I have honed to be loving even in the knowing that everyone dies, so I love anyway, that everything changes, but I create anyway with the hope that through my words I am leaving a legacy of joy for happiness hunters to discover on their journey home and for my ability to perceive a positive outcome from every situation, every emotion and every action I take so that I contribute love to the universal storehouse of energy every moment of the day for all hearts to draw on. Thank you for joining me today, I appreciate you. Thank you for sharing your beauty with me. I Love You.  :~)
