Affirmation, Gratitude and Forethought

Today’s Affirmation; I, _________, (insert my name here to listen to my words before I speak them) have a chance today to speak with compassion. Each time I speak, I have an opportunity to increase the well being in my world. When I speak with forethought, I have an option listen to how my words will sound in my head, before I speak them. At the times I accomplish thinking before I speak, my needs get met with ease and the conversations in my life are pleasing. I hone my speaking skills each time I speak with an intention of being understanding. I allow my emotions to flow through me easily during the conversations in my life. I am easy to talk to. I am a cherished child of the Universe and the Universe loves when I think before I speak.

Today I am grateful for going to the Salvation Army Thrift Store in Duncan, BC yesterday to drop off some clothes and stuffed animals, when I found a brand new Nikken KenkoPillow for $4.95 which is a pillow I have slept on since 1994 (I fell in the bathtub in 1986 and my neck hurt almost everyday until I found this pillow) and when I joyously found one to buy in the last year it cost me about $180.00, Woo Hoo, for receiving a gift from the lovely Wendy Sehn of some 4 inch wide razor blades for my window washing scraper, as I have not been able to find any in Canada, on her trip to Bend, Oregon she found a package and brought them home for me, which created in me a feeling of being cared about and for electric baseboard heating as all I have to do to be warm is to walk over to the wall and turn a knob, oh and pay the electricity bill, so I am grateful for my electricity bill too. LOL LOL LOL! What are you grateful for today? Thank you for spending some time being grateful today. I Love YOU! :~)

Affirmation, Gratitude and Sleep

Today’s Affirmation, I, am going to practice compassionate listening as best I can today. Even if there is no one else around I can practice listening to my thoughts. The better I can listen to my thoughts the better I will be able to listen to the words of the people I meet. When I listen to my thoughts It enables me to decide if the thought I am thinking is worth thinking about. I practice repeating thoughts that cause in me a feeling of calmness. I give myself and others the gift of compassionate listening today. I am going to stay focused on what the person in front of me is saying. I allow myself to listen with my entire being. When I listen to the person in front of me I feel connected to my heart as well as feeling connected to the other person’s heart. I am a trusted child of Creation. Thank you for listening to your thoughts today. Thank you for sharing your precious time with me. I Love You. ❤ :~)

Today I am grateful for gaining an understanding of how eating carbs is effecting my sleep, as my body goes into menopause, the more carbs I eat the less I sleep, the less carbs I eat the more I get to sleep, yesterday I ate hardly any carbs and I slept great, Woo Hoo, for doing my exercises this morning so that my body is kept strong and flexible and for my practice of reading spiritual books or self help books each morning, this morning I was reading “The Heart Of The Buddha’s Teaching” by Thich Nhat Hanh a book that was given to me by the lovely Susan Murray. What are you grateful for today? Thank you for being here today with me. I Love YOU. :~)

Affirmation, Gratitude and Receiving

Today’s Affirmation; I, am open to receiving love, abundance and support today and every day. In the past I only felt valued when I was giving. In order for me to receive I cultivate in my heart a feeling of self worth. My needs are important. I visualize my needs being met. When I visualize my needs being met, in my minds eye, I feel how my heart relaxes which infuses my entire being with a sense of strength. I use my powerful imagination to picture all my needs being met effortlessly. My life is easier when I trust that all my needs are met. I am willing to accept the gifts the Universe is giving me. I am safe. Thank you for cultivating a sense of abundance in your heart today. Thank you for joining me today in experiencing joy. I Love YOU. ❤ :~)

Today I am grateful for gathering with many healers yesterday at the Eco Village so that we can plan how to spread unconditional love and wellness to the Cowichan Valley, for getting flyers printed and an event page done for my upcoming Happiness Enhancing Gatherings on Tuesday evenings in Oct. and for moving forward on creating an evening of healing at the Collective Space where gifted healers come and offer their services on a By Donation basis so people can come to experience their favourite style of healing or something totally new.

Affirmation, Gratitude and Enjoyment

Today’s Affirmation; I, spend time thinking about ways to enjoy each moment of the day. When I am cleaning the house I put my favourite music on and rock out as I dust the shelves. When I do the dishes I witness how the warm water feels on my skin and I imagine I am in a hot spring on a warm sunny day. I have smart brains and a powerful imagination. It is up to me to use my mind, in my best interest. I practice thinking thoughts that instill in my heart a sense of confidence. I am patient. I am kind. I am a good listener. I am good organizer. I have a chance to encourage myself every moment of the day. When I encourage me I feel safe. I am a cherished child of the Universe and the Universe is proud of me. :~)

Today I am grateful for my getting to be a part of the Collective Space where I shall be holding the first four sessions of Happiness Enhancing Gatherings on the first four Tuesday’s of October, (event page coming soon) for creating a Wellness Circle where healing practitioners will offer their services to clients on a donation basis, for what ever it is worth to the receiver and for the feeling that organizing these two events and stepping out and sharing my book are causing in me, a feeling of confidence and excitement at the same time. I am feeling tingly and empowered. Thank you for being here on earth with me today. Thank you for sharing your successes with me. I Love YOU. :~)

Today’s Affirmation; I, _________, (insert me name here to believe in me) have a chance today to invest time in believing in me and my dreams. I spend a few moments actively taking steps to accomplish my goal. I could take a class. I could spend time looking into the mirror and repeat words that help me believe in me. I am capable. I am important. My message is valuable and it is up to me to share my message. I spend time writing if I want to be a writer. I spend time playing an instrument to become a musician. When I give myself the time to dream I feel alive.

Today I am grateful for getting my book out to three battered women’s shelters yesterday one in Sooke where I had a great connection with the executive director who has the next two days off and is going to read my book, Woo Hoo, then two in Victoria with one more to get to as there is a special person I need to connect with, for bravely stepping out of my comfort zone contacting the shelters and book stores of our area pursuing my dream of being a famous author and for my supportive husband who believe in my dream of me becoming a famous author too. Thank you for believing in yourself. Thank you for being here with me today. I Love YOU. :~)

Affirmation, Gratitude and Washer Fix

Today’s Affirmation; I, _________, (insert my name here to increase my ability to be calm) have a super power to help enable me to be calm which is conscious breathing. Any time my stomach begins to clench or my heart begins to wrench I spend a few moments deep breathing. As I feel the air fill my lungs time and time again I feel my stomach relax and my heart beginning unwind. Wow it really works! When I am able to breathe through my tension I feel empowered. I am capable of self-soothing. The more I practice this time tested method the more liberated I feel. In my heart a feeling of safety grows as I witness myself relaxing at will. Thank you for breathing deeply a few times today. Thank you for believing in your ability to calm yourself. I Love YOU. :~)

Today I am grateful that yesterday Robert Cerins and I repaired our washing machine together as it was leaking water, so we spoke of the issue to Bob Tustian (our talented brother-in-law) and he said there was a lint trap that needed cleaning, so we went to Youtube and found this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uWq0xdh8ZIA&t=1s, which helped us fix our washer, we ran a load and it was dry on the floor, Woo Hoo, for making $ 1.81 cents repairing the washer as we found money in the lint trap (which is way better than paying to have it repaired) and for working together calmly, cooperatively and caringly with my amazing husband. Thank you for calmly working together with your family today. Thank you for bravely cooperating with your loved ones today. I Love YOU. :~)

Today’s Affirmation; I, _________, (insert my name here to be open to changing any habit that does not serve me) have the strength to evaluate my habits to see what habits of mine create in me a feeling of wellness. When I discover habits I have that increase my well being I practice repeating those habits so that I am able to enjoy my life. If I happen to find a habit that no longer brings me joy I spend time investigating how to create a new habit that will replace the old habit. Every decision I make is a chance to choose to act in a way that brings joy to my heart. I choose to make healthy habits a part of my life. I feel better when I make healthy choices. Thank you for courageously choosing healthy habits. Thank you for being here on earth with me today. I Love YOU. :~)

Today I am grateful for the stopping of eating cheese which is helping clear my lungs after all the fire smoke we breathed this summer, my lungs need some extra care, for the self discipline I have cultivated in myself so that I am capable of changing any behavior that is not serving me any more, as when I quit sucking my thumb at the age of 13 years old and for trusting that I have the ability to use my energy to follow my dream of becoming an author while at the same time supporting my loved ones. Thank you for listening to your wise heart. Thank you for bravely stepping out of your comfort zone and into the growth zone. I Love YOU. :~)
