Affirmation, Gratitude and My Dreams

Today’s Affirmation; I, _________, (insert me name here to believe in me) have a chance today to invest time in believing in me and my dreams. I spend a few moments actively taking steps to accomplish my goal. I could take a class. I could spend time looking into the mirror and repeat words that help me believe in me. I am capable. I am important. My message is valuable and it is up to me to share my message. I spend time writing if I want to be a writer. I spend time playing an instrument to become a musician. I take baby steps toward my dream and I feel empowered. I am in charge of my future. Thank you for taking charge of your dreams. Thank you for joining me for a few moments of your day. I Love YOU. :~)

an image of a girl sitting on the beach with birds flying above her she is surrounded by a golden moving frame that reminds me of Harry Potter with the words above her head that read "Give Yourself Permission To Dream"

When I give myself the time to dream I feel alive.

Today I am grateful for getting my book out to three battered women’s shelters yesterday one in Sooke where I had a great connection with the executive director who has the next two days off and is going to read my book, Woo Hoo, then two in Victoria with one more to get to as there is a special person I need to connect with, for bravely stepping out of my comfort zone contacting the shelters and book stores of our area pursuing my dream of being a famous author and for my supportive husband who believe in my dream of me becoming a famous author too. Thank you for believing in yourself. Thank you for being here with me today. I Love YOU. :~)

I found this image here http://www.cookingupquilts.com/time-for-a-confession/

an image of a sea coast with the words on top in white that read "Believe in yourself and others will too."

It feels great when I believe in myself and when I feel others believe in me because I believed in me. Which is how I felt talking to the Executive Director yesterday!

Affirmation, Gratitude and Marketing

Today’s Affirmation; I, _________, (insert my name here to love my inner voice, just the way it is) have a chance today to listen to the thoughts that run through my head all day long. My thoughts were shaped by the environment I was raised in, by the experiences I have faced and by how I reacted to each situation every day of my life. Today I listen to my thoughts and the emotions that are entangled with them. Sometimes my thoughts are supportive, kind and caring. Other times my thoughts are frustrated, afraid or embarrassed. I choose to be friend all my thoughts and feelings. When I am aware of my thoughts and feelings it is possible for me to choose how I want to respond in all situations. During the times I am choosing how I respond, I feel empowered. Thank you for empowering yourself today by being aware of your thoughts and emotions. Thank you for spending a few moments of your day here with me. I Love YOU. :~)

Gifting myself time and energy to listen to my thoughts makes everything I do go more smoothly.

Today I am grateful for moving my business plans forward by writing to the Valley Voice putting in an ad to help people who have experienced domestic abuse, heal as October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, (my plan is to hold a weekly gathering starting in Oct. held in my home), for believing that the words written by me, have the ability to help increase the self worth and composure of the people who read my words, so that I am inspired to continue writing and for creating my own teas by buying bulk herbs from #thecommunityfarmstore in Duncan, BC the one in the image below is hibiscus and rose hip tea. Thank you for moving one of your dreams forward today. Thank you for helping me create a more peaceful planet by being peaceful. I Love YOU. :~)

Gratitude and 2 More Book Stores

Today I am grateful for getting my books into two new book stores, which makes a total of three stores so far on this trip. Gratitude Dance! One book store in Toronto, ON called Another Story Bookshop https://www.facebook.com/anotherstorybookshop/
and one in Ottawa, ON called Singing Pebble http://www.singingpebblebooks.ca/
for the feeling of my dream coming true, of being an author, as one of the shelters I dropped a book off at, on our way east, wanted me to come and speak and so on Wednesday this week, two days ago, one of my dreams came true of getting to share my story to women whose lives have been touched by domestic abuse. I am thrilled to be accomplishing what I was put on this planet to do, that is to write and share stories.

To share what I have learned from the thousands of hours I have read books on the topic of self-help, positive psychology, salesmanship, spirituality and confidence building, then put into practice the ideas the books shared with me to see which ones were really helpful for me.

It seems other people are finding my words inspiring too because yesterday right after my talk I received a call from another shelter that wants me to speak. So hopefully I will hear from them today about when I get to share my story of hope and happiness.

May you have the courage to follow your dreams. Thank you for inspiring me by stopping by my page. I Love YOU.  ❤
