Affirmation, Gratitude and A Barmah Hat

Today’s Affirmation; I, Stephanie, (insert your name here if you like) listen to the tones of voice that I hear today, it is important to pay attention to my tone of voice as well. It is vital to me to be calm when I speak so that my voice as well as my vibration is as soothing as possible. In every interaction of my life I have a chance to choose calmness. When I hear discomfort of any kind in the voice of the person speaking to me, I do my best to put myself in their shoes and think of a way to provide reassurance to their heart. The more my attention is focused on what my actions are moment by moment the more grounded I feel. It is in my power to create a centre of calmness just as the eye of a tornado is totally calm by focusing my energy on the here and now. Thank you for the time you were here today. Thank you for listening deeply to every voice you hear today. I Love You.  :~)

an image with a sparkly green backgroune a white peace sigh at the top and words that read Calm Body and Calm Mind.

This is what I endeavor to do every day so that I am capable of emitting love at a moments notice. :~)

Today I am grateful for learning that when I wear my Barmah Hat in my office while I sit at my desk, the hat allows me to work because I can see the screen now, where at other times I had to find some cardboard to put in the window so that I could see the computer screen, for getting to get the two gold fillings put into my mouth today, when the dentist asked if I wanted freezing, I said no as the less of that weird painkilling drug in my system the better and it did not hurt at all when Dr. Dustin George drilled out the temporary fillings, it felt wonderful to feel brave and not have any freezing medicine and for getting to go and see a friend I have not seen for a while, she is always full of stories, great humour and heart felt connection so I am going to have a fun afternoon. Thank you for joining me in appreciating life today. Thank you for connecting with someone you love today. I Love YOU.

The first hat I ever loved a Barmah Hat Robert Cerins got me on Granview Island, after I moved here to Canada as it helped me keep warm and now it keeps the sun out of my eyes as well. :~)

Affirmation, Gratitude and Sauerkraut

Today’s Affirmation; I, Stephanie, (insert your name here if you like) have a responsibility to the energy that created me, to use my energy to be an asset to my family, my community and my world.

I have an opportunity today to be kind. I have the ability to slow myself down so that when I speak my words are compassionate.

It is my responsibility to communicate my needs in ways that make it easy for the people in my life to help me, meet my daily requirements.

The best way I have found to share my needs is to take a deep breath, imagine the person being overjoyed to meet my request with an open heart and then speak my words in a tone of voice that is easy to listen to.

Then it is important to me to be able to meet the needs of the people in my life with an attitude of gratitude of being of useful service.

So when I am asked to meet the needs of my loved one, I repeat a silent mantra of gratitude for being needed. Thank you for being here today with me, as I need you. Thank you for meeting your needs in a compassionate way. I Love YOU.  :~)

Today I am grateful for getting my sauerkraut done yesterday evening, when the sauerkraut was finished there was just one head of fresh cabbage left over after 35 pounds of cabbage was what there was when I started, this time the flavour of the sauerkraut is turmeric, cumin, and coriander with poblano and anaheim mild chili peppers, for starting to write affirmations for people who need them again, to bolster their confidence, help them find their inner joy and lead them to their personal well of unconditional love of life and for my sauerkraut stomper that Robert Cerins and his father Robert made for me to pound the love into the sauerkraut and the water out of the sauerkraut (as you can see in the image below that there is cabbage floating in the juice that the salt and pounding released from the cabbage) my stomper is pictured resting on the water bath ring of the crock in this photo. Thank you for stopping by to see me today. Thank you for appreciating someone today. I Love You. :~)

an image of a sauerkraut crock that is full to the top before the weights are added you can see the poblano peppers in between the cabbage, you can see part of the sauerkraut stomper, which is what the cabbage is pounded with to release the water.

This is the sauerkraut I made Sept. 27th 2016. The piece of wood on the water trough of the crock is made of maple my husband Robert Cerins and his father Bob made it for me. Gratitude Dance!

an image of a sauerkraut crock that is filled up ready to ferment the crock is brown the sauerkraut juice is a bit yellow from the turmeric i added there is cabbage pieces floating on the top on the cabbage juice

The water you see in the image was released from the cabbage itself through the action of salt and pounding the cabbage in the crock.

Affirmation, Gratitude and Connectedness
Today’s Affirmation; I, Stephanie, (insert your name here if you like) develop my self worth by meditating on all I am capable of doing. I focus my mental energy on building me up today. I reassure my heart by refeeling emotions like joy, safety, connectedness and by reliving times I have been useful to the people I love. My ability to believe in me is in my capable hands. I entrust my mental health to me, I practice thinking thoughts that instill in my entire being a sense of mastery. Some of the mantras I say to my heart are; I Think Before I Act Or Speak, Calmness Is The Most Beautiful Jewel of Wisdom, I am safe to speak my truth, I am empowered when I listen to my intuition, I tell my truth to the people I Love, I Love My Life. When I fill my body, Mind and Spirit with encouraging words, phrases, emotions and thoughts I feel competent, when I feel competent I am productive and when I am productive I feel complete. Thank you for connecting with me today. Thank you for speaking kindly to yourself today. I Love You. :~)
an image with a light blue background, there are five hands all in the centre of the image covered in a red heart that is radiating love to all hearts, lines going out from the centre showing the movement of love and the word Connectedness at the top

Feeling the connectedness of my world creates in me a feeling of contentment. :~)

Today I am grateful for getting to make sauerkraut later today, Hooray, once I am done with finishing up creating earrings (there is 68 pairs in the finished pile so far Woo Hoo) my writing and vlogging commitment my appointment with 35 pounds of cabbage shall start, for being able to think before I act or speak, as in a situation the other day when a receptionist asked me if I would put off an appointment for Robert Cerins for dental work, in the past I would have wanted to make her happy and just said yes of course that is ok, but the other day I was thankful that I stood up for Robert Cerins by saying please call Robert and ask him, I felt proud of me, growth is good and for my new hair cut as I am enjoying that my hair does not get stuck in my armpits or strangle me in my sleep and it does not get tangled like my hair did when it was long. Thank you for joining me in joy today. Thank you for standing up for you and your family today. I Love You. :~)

Here is what the sauerkraut will look like when I put the lid on to let the sauerkraut sit for at least 4 weeks maybe 6.

an image of a full crock of sauerkraut, the crock is deep brown and in the centre of the image is two ceramic weights that hold the cabbage down when the process of frementation takes place.

This is what sauerkraut looks like when it is closed up to ferment for 4 to 6 weeks.

Affirmation, Gratitude and Unboxing Gold Fillings

Today’s Affirmation; I, Stephanie, (insert your name here if you like) deepen my love relationship with me today. I stand in front of a mirror today and I sing praises of gratitude for every part of my body, I thank my muscles for holding me up, I thank my tongue for its ability to taste fresh cranberries, that were so sour that they made my face pucker up like crazy, I appreciate my noses ability to smell clean laundry, fresh cut grass and homemade chicken soup cooking, as that is what my nose is smelling right now, I value my bodies ability to hear the sound of my loved ones joy and pain. I approve of my entire body mind and spirit. When I am thrilled with the body I have, my body responds to my self love by sleeping better. I approve of my mistakes as I have done my best to learn from them, apply what I learned and have successes with people and situations that use to overwhelm me. Thank you for your precious time. Thank you for approving of yourself today. I Love You. :~)

Today I am grateful for getting to talk to my mom on our regular Sunday morning call, it is great to connect at the heart and mind with my Mom, for having a great day at the Duncan Farmers Market yesterday as I got to see lots of friends, we made many customers happy, Robert Cerins‘ parents came by the market to see us yesterday and the man who made my gold fillings James came by the farmers market to get seed garlic to plant at his home and dropped off my new tooth jewelry so the dentist can put my gold fillings in my teeth this week, Gratitude Dance, and for my I-Mac Pro Laptop, the internet, youtube and facebook the tools that are helping me spread my message of hope for all hearts to discover their deep well of Unconditional Love. Thank you for being here with me today. Thank you for looking for love deep in your own heart. I Love You.  :~)

Affirmation, Gratitude and King Apples

Today’s Affirmation; I, Stephanie, (insert your name here if you like) take pride in all I do today. Whatever action I am taking today I realize that when I focus on the task at hand, I feel centred. By paying attention to what I am doing today, I am staying present, which is the best gift I can give myself. My mind is calm when I am busy doing a physical job, that leaves my mind available to process the emotions going on in my life at the moment. When I am able to allow myself the time to pay attention to my work and take pride in my duties I feel grounded. When I am assembling earrings or sharing a relaxing session of Reflexology/Reiki I imagine people feeling better, I visualize oxytocin being released in their bodies and I picture them being surrounded by the golden light of unconditional love, so I feel connected to source energy, my clients energy and to my spiritual energy. Thank you for the moments you were with me today. Thank you for taking pride in all you do. I Love YOU.   :~)

Thank you for being here today. Thank you for sharing what your favourite hot drink or type of apple you love. I Love YOU. :~)

Affirmation, Gratitude and Sustainability

Today’s Affirmation; I, Stephanie, (insert your name here if you like) do my best to care for the planet today by eating local organic food from farmers I know, trust and love. I go and pay for bio-diesel at the office of Cowichan Bio-Diesel Coop where I get to see Alannah Klopper then I go to pump the #biodiesel at Cowichan Petroleum Services, it feels great when there is an oil spill and I am burning bio-diesel. My commitment to having a small footprint even reaches into my daily washroom experience where I wash my entire body with a wash cloth covered in Dr. Bronners peppermint soap that leaves my skin all tingly, then I just rinse out the cloth in the bathroom sink, saving about 15 to 25 litres of water a day six days a week then on the day seven I take a bath or shower. I am capable of making choices that benefit myself and the planet at the same time.  Thank you for caring for our planet today. I Love You.  :~)

Buying the fuel for my car from Cowichan Bio-diesel Coop is healthier for me, all bicyclists and the planet too. :~_

Today I am grateful for being able to donate a ponytail, to be made into a wig for children with cancer #hairdonation as yesterday when my friend Susan Murray came over for dinner, she cut my hair off in a ponytail, which helps me with my goal of cheering up the planet, (as some child hopefully will feel happier with a new wig) for getting to clean up the outside of our home today in the continuing progress of readying the house for sale as there is a bit of wood and recycling to tidy and for having a savvy husband Robert Cerins who picked out three new skirts for me (that fit perfectly, I might add LOL) the other day when we went shopping he found me a black velvet #LizClaiborne above the knee skirt, a long royal blue wool skirt made in Canada by #JoideVivre and a long brown skirt that will keep me warm in the winter, all at the local #SalvationArmyThriftStore in Duncan, BC one of my favourite places to shop. Thank you for the time you were with me today. Thank you for letting me know your favourite Thrift Store. I Love You.  :~)
