Affirmation, Gratitude and Washer Fix

Today’s Affirmation; I, _________, (insert my name here to increase my ability to be calm) have a super power to help enable me to be calm which is conscious breathing. Any time my stomach begins to clench or my heart begins to wrench I spend a few moments deep breathing. As I feel the air fill my lungs time and time again I feel my stomach relax and my heart beginning unwind. Wow it really works! When I am able to breathe through my tension I feel empowered. I am capable of self-soothing. The more I practice this time tested method the more liberated I feel. In my heart a feeling of safety grows as I witness myself relaxing at will. Thank you for breathing deeply a few times today. Thank you for believing in your ability to calm yourself. I Love YOU. :~)

When I take the time to breathe deeply all is well in my world.

Today I am grateful that yesterday Robert Cerins and I repaired our washing machine together as it was leaking water, so we spoke of the issue to Bob Tustian (our talented brother-in-law) and he said there was a lint trap that needed cleaning, so we went to Youtube and found this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uWq0xdh8ZIA&t=1s, which helped us fix our washer, we ran a load and it was dry on the floor, Woo Hoo, for making $ 1.81 cents repairing the washer as we found money in the lint trap (which is way better than paying to have it repaired) and for working together calmly, cooperatively and caringly with my amazing husband. Thank you for calmly working together with your family today. Thank you for bravely cooperating with your loved ones today. I Love YOU. :~)

Affirmation, Gratitude and A Peace Rose

Today’s Affirmation; I, _________, (insert my name here to respond to the events of my life with forethought) have a chance today to choose how I respond to the situations, people and messes in my life. In each human interaction I am a part of there is an opportunity to listen to my inner dialogue, my thoughts and my emotions. As I get better at listening to my inner chatter and the emotions that arise in the moment my state of mind grows calmer. When I slow down my responses it gives me the time I need to be present to my words before I speak them. I love to think before I act of speak. I respond to life and I feel safe. Today I am grateful for getting to pick apples with Sarah Wilson yesterday so that the apples from the trees in our yard get used instead of just falling to the ground, we had fun picking and talking, for having a Peace Rose bush at our new home that keeps making new roses for me to smell and for rereading through my book, editing out the mistakes that I had missed before it went to print and getting ready a big promotional push for October as October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Thank you for taking time to smell the flowers in your life. Thank you for finding something to be grateful for today. I Love YOU.  ❤  :~)

Affirmation, Gratitude and Kindnesses

Vlog #78 is about being gentle with ourselves so that we can learn how to relax, unwinding the mind and giving comfort to the heart and as always what there was in my life to be grateful for in the hopes of sparking your attitude of gratitude. :~)

Today’s Affirmation; I, _________, (insert your name here to practice relaxing) shall be gentle with myself today so that my busy mind has a chance to unwind. This is a good day to focus on letting the angels do their part, as I have done all I can, to make everything happen, it is now my time to breathe, trust and expect everything is going perfectly. The most important action I can take, is to be calm in the situation, visualize the solutions that I want to have happen and to have confidence that whatever the outcome, it is in my best interest. I allow all good to come to me by realizing my self worth. I breathe in abundance and exhale generosity. I inhale abundance and exhale generosity. When I imagine a life filled with plenty, enhanced by the emotions of feeling content, the Universe witnesses my sense of comfort and gives me more to be comfortable about. Thank you for coming by for a dose of cheer. Thank you for feeling comfortable in your life. I Love YOU. :~)

Today I am grateful for having dinner made for Robert and I by Robert Cerins‘ 91 year old dad on Saturday after the Duncan Farmers Market, just as we were packing up our booth, Robert’s mom called and said “Papa made you food to eat, can you come over for a meal?” and we said “yes” and had a baked chicken dinner, gratitude dance, (as we were hungry after a day at the farmers market) for trusting that the money is coming in at the perfect time, all the time, even when I do not see that exact reality in my life, I hold the feeling of abundance in my heart and mind exuding generosity at all times and for the knowledge passed on in books, from the explorers of the heart, that being kind and patient in all situations takes more courage than any other response possible. Thank you for being here with me today. Thank you for being bravely kind today. I Love YOU. :~)

Today’s Affirmation; I, _________, (insert your name here to practice calmness) am willing to practice being calm today when ever I feel someone has wronged me in any way. Instead of being frustrated today about how other people act or treat me, I will put myself in their shoes to feel why they are responding to me the way they are. It is within my power to bring the odds in my favor in every relationship I have, by responding in a calm manner in all situations. I can just keep asking kindly to have my needs met and then one day the person I have been asking the request of seems to magically meet my need in spades because I calmly just kept expressing my need and expecting them to do the right thing and I feel elated because I held the vision that the person would meet my need and they did. Being calm keeps me connected to my heart and the heart of everyone I meet. Thank you for being here with me today. Thank you for being calm today. I Love YOU. :~)

I feel serene when I focus on calmness.

Today I am grateful for my love of nourishing my body temple with whole organic food, just a few minutes ago I spent about one and a half hours deboning two chickens after boiling them for about 8 hours or more to get all the collagen to release from the bones of the chicken, to sustain my bones and cartilage, for living the truth that food is my medicine, by witnessing the reactions my body has to the food I consume, my body communicates what it needs, my body loves protein, vegetables, fruit, whole organic foods grown in a sustainable way and for getting to connect with my mom as it is Sunday and we get to Skype on Sundays, which means I live in the time of the Jetsens and some day soon cars will fly. Thank you for nourishing your body temple with whole local food. Thank you for your time. I Love YOU. :~)

Affirmation, Gratitude and Laughter

Here is my Vlog that goes with today’s affirmation and gratitude my you laugh, feel joy or just think of what you are grateful for while you witness my gratitude.

Today’s Affirmation; I, Stephanie, (insert your name here if you like) have a chance today to be patient in all situations. When I am standing in line at the grocery store I have a choice to enjoy being in line, to pass the time while in the line, by speaking to the people behind me who are also waiting in the line. Each moment of my life is an opportunity to live lightly, to breathe easily and to connect to the heart of the person nearest to me. At the times I am patient in the moment the moment is a breeze. My time lingering in the line is an opportunity to check in with my heart to see how my heart feels the day is going. Each second of my life is another chance to witness how my life will improve by me being willing to be patient. Then when people recognize that I was patient, I share my little truth that patience is free and I usually cause in the person a small laugh. Thank you for the moments you were here with me today. Thank you for creating some laughter in your life today. I Love You. :~)

Today I am grateful for getting to receive an Ayurvedic hot oil massage from angelic Asrael Zemenick of Ananda Ayurveda, Asrael poured hot oil on my body then she rubbed the oil into my skin until I was a serene greasy mess, which feels heavenly, for getting to be a part of the Duncan Farmers Market yesterday, we got to see lots of friends, sell some earrings, it was a dry day which was perfect for the market and Robert Cerins parents came out to the market to see is which is always a treat and for getting dinner made for me by Robert Cerins lovely parents after the farmers market yesterday, it was perfect to stop by their home to share some True Grain Bread from Cowichan Bay and get treated to a yummy home cooked meal, with the best company ever. Thank you for being here with me today. Thank you for sharing what you are grateful for with me. I Love YOU.  :~)

Affirmation, Gratitude and Responding

Today’s Affirmation; I, Stephanie, (insert your name here if you like) choose to witness my emotions as if they were the emotions of my best friend. My goal is to be able to respond to the situations and people in my life from a point of being calm and present. At the times when I am able to stay aware of my body’s, breathing rate, heart rate and how my stomach feels are the times that I feel connected to my heart and Universal Unconditional Love. When my stomach starts to clench, or my nerves begin to wrench it is then time for me to retch up my fear, allowing my being to examine the anxiousness for illusion that it is. The next step is loving and accepting the illusion of fear with an open heart, welcoming the scared part of me as something just as sacred as the faithful part of me. When I embrace the emotions that frighten me as well as the ones that heighten my earthly experience my being resonates with serenity. Thank you for being a part of my day today. Today I am grateful for having a dry spot to hang out on this very rainy Friday as we are getting all the rain the weather report promised, for my eyes as when I awoke this morning there was a light that flashed so brilliantly that I saw the light while my eyes were still closed, then I heard a car screech its brakes so I thought the light came from the car headlights, then I heard the thunder so right away I realized I had seen lightening with my eyes closed, cool and for getting to make some squash soup from a big bluish green squash, that I shall enhance with homemade chicken broth, green chilies, onions, celery and what ever else that is in the fridge that will make it even yummier, making soup improv style with no recipe is my favourite way to make soup.
