Relationship Tip #1

Creating happy relationships starts with each of us. My first tip on building great relationships is “Going The Extra Mile”. In the instance “Going The Extra Mile” means paying attention to what is going on in the present moment when you are speaking to another person. Are they able to look you in the eye? Do their words and actions match? Are they kind to other people? How do you feel around each person you speak to? When we pay attention to how the person in front of us make us feel. We get to decide who we hang out with.

Today I am grateful for improving Robert Cerins web site a page at a time here is the first improved page… it has been a real asset for us that I am able to create web sites, for my love of learning, reading and ever curious nature that keeps me feeling interested in new things and allows me the courage to complete the tasks as varied as help with building a home, or help work on a car or help in the kitchen after a friends dinner party or whatever I have agreed to do and for all the authors who have recorded their experiences, share their earthly journey for me to learn from and inspire me with their words. What are you grateful for today? Thank you for the moments you were here with me today. Thank you for embracing your curious nature. I Love YOU! :~)

Today’s Affirmation; I, _________, (insert your name here if you are willing to laugh at yourself) am willing to take myself lightly today. Whatever happens this day I will pretend that it is exactly, what I wanted to have happen. I shall practice instant acceptance so every experience is a wanted experience. In that past I have resisted reality, causing my heart much pain. So today I take the spiritual path of acceptance to see where that leads me. When I am running behind in my day, I stop for a moment and think with a light heart, look at what an optimist I am, thinking I can get 3 hours worth of stuff done in 1 hour and giggle at myself, it is up to me to be gentle with me. To admit to myself my slight imperfections so that when I stumble in my day, by over committing, feeling like I can build Rome in a day, to step back and think about how much I can really get done in the amount of time there is, so that I am more realistic in my plans and feel more light hearted at the end of the day. Then when I have found I have not done that once again and have 10 hours of stuff to do in 2 hours to have a great laugh at my folly and enjoy the optimistic person that I am. Thank you for the precious time you spent with me today. Thank you for laughing at your self today. I Love YOU. :~)

Affirmation, Gratitude and Reflexology

Today’s Affirmation; I, _________, (insert your name here if you are willing to approve of yourself) have a chance to be gentle with me today. My health is in my capable hands so today I invest in some food that is fresh, green and crunchy. I make me a priority in my day so that I feel important to me. I spend time investing in my mental health by thinking thoughts that encourage me, support my dreams and nourish my sense of self. My supporting thoughts could be something like; I am enough. I am worthy of being loved unconditionally. I am worthy of having friends that are kind to me. I draw to me people who choose to support my dreams. I allow all good to come to me now. I am a cherished child of the Universe and the Universe is proud of me.

Today I am grateful for a sunny day in which I shall go and make cookies with Robert’s parents, clean their home and in general bring them some good energy to draw from, for getting a new reflexology client, this Monday it will be my pleasure to go to a new person’s home, share Reflexology, Reiki and get to listen to their stories with my entire being and for the knowledge that how I feed myself, exercise myself and think about myself have a direct impact on every aspect of my life, so today it is up to me to take the actions I trust help me to thrive, nourishing my body with yummy organic salads, spending time each morning exercising a bit, then making sure I appreciate me just the way I am. I am enough. I am worthy. I am excited to expend my energy in ways that soothe me. Thank you for your time. Thank you for soothing yourself with compassion. I Love YOU.   :~)

Affirmation, Gratitude and A Ferry Ride

Today’s Affirmation; I, Stephanie, (insert your name here if you like) am going into a storm of grief today with an open heart that radiates compassion, empathy, love and acceptance. When I have a friend or loved one who is grieving I do my best to listen to their emotional pain with my entire being. My goal is to allow the person who is in deep grief to be heard, to hold space for the sorrow that they are emitting and to trust that the person is mourning in their own perfect way. My hope is that my whole heart can be present to their discomfort as a wise spiritual being that knows that death is a new beginning, a transformation back to pure possibilities and be a stand that grieving is good for the soul. Thank you for your precious time today. Thank you for allowing your heart the time it needs to grieve. I Love You. :~)

Today I am grateful for getting to the Departure Bay Ferry at 8:00am on the dot, so that we would be on time for our reservation, as we had to be at the ferry booth to pay right on time by 8:00am or we would lose our reservation spot with no refund, for getting to go to West Vancouver this morning to support Robert Cerins life long friend Jack Mants as there is a memorial to celebrate and honour his Jack’s sister Carol, it is a blessing to provide solace for Jack and his family in their time of mourning and for getting to go to some of the stores we supply in Whistler, Ocean Park, Granville Island and maybe some new stores with Original Earrings in the hopes of restocking the stores shelves with a sparkly selection of Holiday Hand Painted Earrings. Thank you for being a part of my day today. Thank you for being kind to yourself first today. I Love YOU.   :~)

Affirmation, Gratitude and Being Patient

Today’s Affirmation; I, Stephanie, (insert your name here if you like) do my best to be patient today in all situations, relationships and with myself. When I am patient my heart beats evenly, allowing my entire body to feel relaxed. I have the power to be calm in almost all situations through my ability to deep breathe. At any time when my body feels irritated, my first instinct is to pay attention to the irritation, then with the curiosity of a child explore why my being is upset and then comfort my heart with reassuring words that encourage me to act in ways that help me thrive. In the times that I soothed my emotions first, then discussed the issue at hand in a calm manner, taking responsibility for my part, it is those times I am proud of how I have dealt with heart felt topics and had the outcomes my spirit longed for. During the times I emit peacefulness from my core are the times my life feels the safest. Thank you for joining me in joy today. Thank you for being patient with yourself today. I Love You.  :~)

Today I am grateful for making a big salad out of red chard, red cabbage, green cabbage, red daikon, onion, and celery then the salad on my plate was topped with cooked hamburger with sauteed red chard, so my belly is full and my taste buds are satisfied, for getting a new sparkly white tent top for our vendor tent, from Adam’s Tarp & Tool Co Ltd. it got ripped last weekend while we packed up in the pouring rain, and for preparing the materials which will be helpful in the two sessions of Connecting With Heart that it is my pleasure to get to facilitate next week, Gratitude Dance spreading information that connects us at the heart. Affirmation, Gratitude and Death

Today’s Affirmation; I, Stephanie, (insert your name here if you like) am rewiring my brain to embrace the idea and emotions around death. Since everyone is going to die including me, hopefully far in the future, inasmuch as I want to live to be the oldest person on the planet, it occurred to me, that other people in my life may pass away before me, so how I can actually enjoy the death of the people in my life? As I was a mess for at least a decade after my dad died when I was 15 years old, I would enjoy to shorten the grief cycle for the future deaths I will grieve. I want to be as excited when someone dies as when they were born since I have come understand that death is just a transformation back to pure energy. So today I welcome death as I would any earthly experience with an open mind and heart. Thank you for being here with me today. Thank you for bravely facing your fears about death. I Love You.  :~)

Meditating on death is a buddhist tradition that I am going to check out to see if the Buddhists have figured out a way to enjoy the grief of death. :~)

Today I am grateful for having a warm home on the first frosty morning of this fall, as when I went out to feed the barn cats this morning, the grass was all sparkly with diamonds of frost reflecting the brilliant morning sunshine, for having an entire day at home yesterday making some herbal massage cream from herbs like Chaparral and Calendula with coconut oil that soothes our human bodies because I feel nature is the first farmacy that I want to go to before I call the doctor and for trusting that having positive and negative emotions is perfect since even the electricity that powers my computer runs negative sometimes without any guilt, so today I honour all of my emotions as important, vital parts of me, I love my emotions. I love my emotions. I love my emotions. Thank you for being a bright spot in my day. Thank you for loving my emotions. I Love You.  :~)
